Japanese reviews (and customer reviews in general) are well known for being unreliable. Far too early to say; I do think a portion of the criticism was undeserved bandwagoning but let's wait before declaring the game to be a hidden gem.

Didn't see it but I'm 95% positive it wasn't the Madoka level preorders shown :-p

But if you say it's decent i'll try it. I like ping pong.
