Forums - Movies & TV - Fantastic Four (2015) - Now 8%(!) on Rotten Tomatoes

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/fantastic_four_2015/

"Dull and downbeat, this Fantastic Four proves a woefully misguided attempt to translate a classic comic series without the humor, joy, or colorful thrills that made it great."

----------------

The number can go up, but this may be the worst reviewed major film of the Summer. Pixels at 18% was bad enough, but flirting with single digits? Ouch.  Does this affect if you will see it? Will general audiences stay away?

Around the Network

I am surprised at the very very low score of RottenTomatoes, and that's out of 62 reviews, which is not a few.

I mean, I didn't expect much from this movie, but woah. Will see it myself and judge accordingly. Unlike RottenTomatoes, I liked Terminator:Genisys (and it seems the audience did too).

That's disappointing.
I wasn't incredibly excited for it but the previews looked decent. 10% is pretty rough, especially with a lot of reviews.

JEEZUZ!

I figured people would of loved it. It's probably one of the least faithful movies based on a comic.

Around the Network

The old movies are better.

I kinda expected this movie to be bad, but I didn't think it would be this terrible. It's a shame.

Before seeing the reviews I was waiting until it came out for purchase. Now though, I am curious enough to give it a theatre go.

WOW worse than pixels? Damn

There wasn't a single trace of personality in the trailer. That's all I've seen of it.

Anyway, the appeal of the Fantastic Four was that it was campy as hell. Going all super serious with it is kind of meaningless.

If they want to make a really, really good movie, make one about Dr. Doom, one of the best characters in comic book history.
