It was a pretty trailer, at least, but it revealed basically nothing of note. The least they could have done was give some commitment to whether the game is coming this year or next. I guess if we haven't gotten a release date yet though, 2016 is most likely.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
Is there going to be another trailer? Developers said on Active Time Reports that FFXV's participation at gamescom was going to be considerable.

I believe this is just kicking off FFXV at Gamescom. I suppose it makes sense that they showed us basically nothing, but boy would it have been nice to at least try to hype us up a little. It was a pretty poor attempt at drama, that's for sure. It would have helped with some context tossed in, but I have no idea why I should have cared about basically anything I saw in those three minutes.

Yeah that would be good. A release date/window would be better though
