If you don't mind uninstalling games all the time, I feel like 2tb will run out quickly for me personally. I wish Sony would just support external HDD so I can just buy a 5tb HDD.

Agreed.

One thing I love about the Wii U even though peopel bag it out for it's internal capacity. Having internal capactiy the way game developers make games these days is sooo pointless.

Beurty with externals you don't even need a big one, just have a few 1tbs ones and keep getting a new additional one when required with each having perhaps 15 games on it.

For physical game I would say so because the installs are fairly quick however if you're digital you should go for something larger.

I don't think it will be enough, but that depends on the size of both physical and digital games of the person and his/her internet connection speed. The person would be less likely to delete or redownload a 50GB game from PSN, but the person would be fine to install it from the disc since it can be playable in a few seconds or minutes.

I got a 500gb, hoping that buying physical for almost all my games wouldn't be a problem. If it turns out, like with my ps3, I will upgrade the hd myself. Or maybe if there is a mini PS4 release, I'll just upgrade to that.

You can install games really quickly. But the biggest thing is that the it doesn't matter because replacing a hard drive is easy.

I guess I will buy 20-25 games this generation, do you think a 1TB PS4 is enough?

I'd say the average ps4 game takes about 25-50gb of space, so the average would be about 37.5gb. For 20-25 games, let's say the average of that is 22.5. So

37.5 x 22.5 is 843gb. The 1tb will come with about 900gb of useable memory, so you'd have about 57gb for game saves and software updates. I'd say it should be fine for that amount of games.

History is nothing more than a tableau of crimes and misfortunes

Space always become a problem, so my suggestion buy a hard copy games on games that you like most, and the rest just make a soft copy.

I think I could manage a whole gen with 1TB but I'd opt for more anyway.

Lol, My 60GB Xbox360 got me gaming for 3yrs until its lens died out :D. But I guess it just depends if you like deleting games you don't play anymore.
