Forums - Microsoft Discussion - All Microsoft has to do to own gamescom for me is...

Say that they bought Remedy Games. Do something right for your first party for once Microsoft.

There may be no Remedy for your disappointment.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

But do remedy want to be bought...?! Some devs value their independancy

Really... after the many many many many negative posts you have made talking about how Microsoft can only buy studios and are entirely unable to create something of their own, them purchasing a studio like Remedy outright would be doing "right" by their first party "for once". Ok.

Anyway, guess you are disappointed right about now. Personally as long as they own the QB IP, I'm good either way. I think they own it?

Careful what you wish for. They might just treat it like Rare.

Say they've sold RARE to Nintendo. That'd be better.

Don't bother, dude.

When the FUCK did we start expecting news about acquisitions in gaming events like this one?

"can't wait for E3 to hear about companies buying other companies , yay!"

This is ridiculous.

If you haven't read my posts properly over the years the only two companies ( from 2008 to now) was bIoware and Remedy games. I'm not a big fan of studio acquisitions, but if you work well with a company for so many years the next step might as well be taken before someone else works with them. EA was obviously much...much smarter than I anticipated. I have no reason to complain about EA's quality of games since the acquisition of Bioware. Quite frankly, less people are complaining about them than ever and it is primarily owned to owning dice and bioware. Without those two companies EA would still be on everyones shit list.

Also, i've actually be praising Microsoft as of late, but for some odd reason you've never been there when it happens. I'm sure some people will tell you who have seen my posts since January that I've been more balanced between Sony and Microsoft than usual. I've been playing my Xbox One more than my PS4 as of late. Actually, Bloodborne was my last PS4 game that I actually played.

I dont really like to talk abot acquisitions but if anything will help Microsofts first party stand out, its having standout companies making games for them. It doesn't event have to be Microsofts vision.
