Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Used Xbox 360 can't connect to internet.

It has everything but a secondary dns server. Help please.

Edit: I've tried everything that xbox.com said. Nothing did the trick. Every other console can connect to the internet.

Around the Network

why do you need a second DNS server??

It won't connect to the internet. Don't know why. I'll rephrase the thread title.

Do you need that wifi thing you plug into the back?

If its a used 360 it could be banned from xbox live.

This might be the problem, indeed.

Around the Network

is it the device that can't connect to your home internet or that you can't access xbox live?

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Are you connecting by ethernet wire? Old X360 doesn't have wifi.

i have the same problem.

Not banned. The person I got it from barely has internet. All his games are digital, and I need to access Xbox Live to get to them. I can't access the internet, but I'm connected to the network.
