Forums - Gaming Discussion - Bad things happening at Konami - Nikkei report

Wow, Konami really wants all of their employees to resign.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

i think we also partly to be blamed, if we dont buy their games thats what can happening

Doesn't give them reason to act like assholes to their employees.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

Holy hell konami is really messed up.

A company with strict policies? Do you think Konami is something special in that regard?

WTF... MGS will really be my last Konami game. I like PES, but not enough to support that company. Let them die or make their great mobile games.

We will support Kojima wherever he goes next (I still hope that Sony will create a Kojima team in Japan Studios...).

Wow a totalitarian regime.

Just have another publisher hire Kojima and start recruiting large numbers of Konami staff away from there to build a new studio.

Doesnt sound like they would be expensive to "steal" away, or hard to make happy to work at a new place.

Making game programmers clean toilets.... I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of their staff just leave. I'm sure there's plenty of game companies that would take them.

That's pretty fucking bad. Their employees should move on if they can and want to.

In any western company, the relocated people would have been fired on the spot with any market shift.

And those lunch and camera's uses are normal. I work on a Service Desk and have exactly 30 minutes for lunch each day. And there are also camera's to monitor the entrance.

Konami is moving to Mobile outside that they don't do anything else then most companies. Even going Mobile is normal for Japanese gaming companies :p.
