its really not rocket science to understand this game, watch terminator and matrix for example then you should understand why.

The whole point is that you ask those questions. I always find it odd that the very nature of good narrative is taken as a negative.

Robot monsters is good narrative? Ok lol. Maybe I asked that question because I can't see any way at all about how robot monsters could pose a good story. It just plain comes off as corny to me.

I have seen both, why would robot monsters make any sense?

No, the fact that you seem to think 'not knowing' is a bad thing. GOOD narrative thrives on questions and here we have one hell of a question: 'what happened to the world and why did machines take over?'

You're not supposed to know. That's the point.

Given that the core of the narrative is built around the mystery of how these machines came to dominate the earth and what they are and where they came from, explaining all that in a trailer or website blurb would ruin the narrative.

That is because you lack imagination. It's really not hard to see a number of really interesting explainations to why they look and behave like living things.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Thank you this is all I really needed. Looks stunning though. Not my cup of tea.
