I change discs to play a different game and when I try to play said game, it says "wrong disc inserted".  I have to power the console down and restart it. The grand works but powering down takes a long time.

Yeah, I was about to ask the same, do you select the "close game" thing before you change discs? If you don't, you're still technically playing whatever game you did before (that's what the PS4 thinks), and thus the new disc is the wrong disc.

Problem solved, then. Nothing to see here! It wasn't always the case, though. Used to be able to swap discs without having to close out.

Wow, it's like it doesn't know it's picking it's own nose, unless you tell it it is.

As for me, I've never had this problem. All my games are digital PS+ rentals.
