Forums - Gaming Discussion - Game Trailers: Top 10 series that need to die

Do you agree with the list?

All of it 23 19.66%

A few games 67 57.26%

Not at all 27 23.08%

Total:117

Neptunia suddenly needs to die? At least the spin offs tried to be different and Tales Of brings something new to the franchise every iteration.

Yet, a lot of games that gives you the same gameplay ain't even on that list. Well besides Assassins Creed :p

Oh and MGS without Kojima is probably dead anyways.

In fact, I don't agree with some of the games on the list since I don't know most of it. What I do believe is that they should've put Metroid, Zelda, Call of Duty, Need for Speed and Battlefield on that list, along with many more.

I agree with all of those except Zelda, just wondering why you think it should die

we just started getting familiar with Tales Of in the west (at least i did) so big no to that one, we need all the JRPG series we can get right now.

Fable hasnt been around long enough.

Soul Calibur quality is sporadic but it doesnt need to die.

Sonic needs to find a style that works (coughGenerationscough) and stick to it.

Metal Gear Solid is pretty much done after this one.

Assassin's Creed...yeah. it needs to stop not impressed by the new one and they removed competitive multiplayer which is one of the reasons ive sticked with the series for so long

Oh, and I think it's safe to say Final Fantasy has run it's course. It's just sad to watch the series try and recreate the magic it had with mediocre game after mediocre game. It's the Sonic of JRPGs.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

"10. Hyperdemension Neptunia

9.Tales Of"

Did not see that coming

Suprised at the amount of defense of the Neptunia series, I've never played it but from what I've heard and seen it represnts everything I hate about what the JRPG genre has become.

*grumbles*

*shakes angry fist!*

How dare you good sir! The sanic of jrpgs >_<' that one hurts.

I think Tekken could be on that list to. And i think most people who dissagrees with the list would agree that Assassin's Creed atleast needs a break.

If only classic Sonic kept up with the standards of Mario and the like there wouldn't be anyone claiming 'Sonic the Hedgehog has to die'.

Little surprised that Sonic isn't #1 tbh, but AC definitely is a series that has overstayed its welcome.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
