I agree with this, but XBO is not the last XBOX.

Or he could simply be referencing the future in general, regardless of whether or not Microsoft has a home console. The same statement would fit into a scenario where Microsoft released its games on a Nintendo device, or Sony device, or just pc, etc.

Yeah... sure.
Was there ever really any doubt? Why wouldnt there be a Xbox Two at some point?

I don't believe many people doubted there wouldn't be another Xbox, but rather if Microsoft will be the one supporting it. There's a decent probability Microsoft exits at some point, and someone else takes over the brand.
Nintendo is the company I believe will exit main primary hardware if NX fails and head completely software (where they excel).
So that's the answer, they built the back compatibility by adding emulator within each 360 games for Xbox One. That's why they need to be downloaded first, it's the same like PS2 or PS1 downloaded games from PSN.

Thats not really confirmation of the next xbox or that microsoft will make another. I'm sure they will be researching their next console ideas but far too early for talk of the next gen xbox.
ofc there will be a new xbox. why should they not.
