Phil Spencer says at "Probably not this gen" We had plenty of poeple doubting the next Xbox on VGChartz, I guess that somewhat confirms there will be a Next Xbox which is good news allround.

Also we can take from that tweet that the Next Xbox will be 360 BC with the emulator software built in. Hopefully it will be fully Xbox One BC as I would be stupid to get fans hopes up with BC now and drop it for the next gen.

Possibly. Or it could mean a hybrid PC/xbox streaming box(we are already seeing strong intergration of PC and Xbox functionality and games now). I do not think we will see an "Xbox 2" though. A conventional PS5(having built in hardware and using some kind of physical media) has more of a chance but still probably unlikely. Nintendo will probably be the last console maker to put out a convention hardware device that doesn't rely on streaming etc but that is because they are always one or two steps behind in most things. Just my opinion though. We won't be hearing about an Xbox1 successor for another few years at the least, they aren't Nintendo :P

Microsoft certainly has their sights on next gen, its my believe that they'll replace the Xbox One with a fully BC "Xbox 10" as soon as the PS4 begins to slow and a big technological leap is affordable.

It could also be that their gonna make an official 360 and One emulator for the PC, integrated with their hypothetical Steam counterpart. Just sayin.

It's really too early to speculate on a "Probably".

Windows 10 will be their base for coming Xbox devices so I can see a streaming device coming forward.

Yes, it would make a lot of sense for the next XBox (due out in 2019ish) to be BC with X360. People will just be delighted to be able to play over a decade old sub HD games on their 4-8K televisions. A system selling feature for sure, especially if the system itself costs more because of it.
