Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Just finished Xenoblade for the 1st time

So I just finished Xenoblade Chronciles on Wii for the 1st time ever (even though I got it at launch...).

My thoughts (and some spoilers)...

  • Great world
  • Great dialog
  • Great story
  • Great characters (even Riki)
  • Great combat
  • Great ending
Only thing that was a let down was the last few hours (too many linear dungeons and boss fights).  But other than that great game.
Not so good as to dethron Majora's Mask as my #1 but I think it just might push KOTOR out from the #2 spot.

Great right? Its definitly up there with my favorites aswell. I rebought it on the 3DS aswell. Too bad i cant import my save to the 3DS though.

I basically got a Wii U just to play the next one.

It's simply one of the greatest jrpgs ever.

Is it coincidence that I also happened to finished Xenoblade today?

Fantasic atmosphere at the end.

Found the later bosses to be the best to be honest. They actually had an ounce of challenge in them, unlike everything else.

Didn't you use to be a reviewer here?

Sure did!

I wish I could get amnesia so I could explore the Bionis for the first time again...
It's been a while since I found a game world so captivating...
I can't wait to finally play Xenoblade X...

Have a nice day...

I loved the game. A truly great jrpg. After being let down by the crap that has been final fantasy for the last few games, I thoroughly enjoyed this one (played on 3ds first). CNT wait for xeno on wiiu.

I got my copy in 2012... and I still haven't beaten it. Love the story, but the grinding....ugh. I just hate grinding so damn much! I'm going to beat it someday, but it's going to be a like a decade lol

Don't grind, explore.    Some benefit, more fun.

Yeah, someone on here said if I do side quests, I won't have to grind. That's probably what I'll end up doing.
