Well, I'm on the US PS+, but the exchange rate really hurt me as well.
It used to be about €40 when converted, and now it's already close to 1:1 conversion. With VAT in Europe, I can understand the reason for the increase (doesn't mean I like it).

Same for the games, I used to save a lot by buying from the US store, and now it's actually cheaper to buy physical from UK online stores.

Am I the only one that doesn't really care? It's not that substantial for a year's worth of the service and I doubt it'll be felt that much by gamers in general.

Hopefully the increase means there's a serious update incoming for PS+ as well.

I'm now really regretting I did not stash when it was possible for me to buy 1 year subscriptions under 40€

pretty sad this is because the euro lost in value but actually it doesnt make sense the servers are hosted in europe and paid in euro

Not bad, considering renting one Redbox game is $3. The value of the PS+ rental service is worth it's weight in Gold. All dem games you keep rental rights to, it's unberievabrle. Sony has a loyal following and they will get over it. I approve this. Make your money Sony, make it!!! 💵 💰💳

It would but fine if they added something for the extra price like more online storage and/or extra game per month but paying more for nothing extra kind of raises a few hands.

Btw. the people that showed companies that they'd happily pay for online multiplayer (and who in some cases would even go online and defend that action) are still probably the people I have the biggest internal beef with in the gaming community.
