Hey the guy threw 19/26, it's not like he had a horrible game, they just for the most part abandoned the pass in the 2nd half.

He was averaging under 5 yards per attempt (4.8).

No, he looked bad.

"The NFL is considering either adding another game in London, keeping it at three in London and adding another game in another country, or both. The two countries under consideration, outside of the U.K., for a new International Series game in 2016 are Germany and Mexico. If it's Mexico -- and stadium issues remain there -- it'll be in Mexico City. If it's Germany -- and the NFL's new media deal makes that marketplace more attractive for the owners -- it'll be in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt or Hamburg."

"It's fair to say there's already been plenty of progress. Per Waller, about 40,000 fans will attend all three games, representing what the league believes is a burgeoning season-ticket base. NFL figures TV ratings have doubled since 2007, and the league estimates its U.K. fan base at 13 million."

Please never never send a Denver home game to London.

Still perfect on TNF picks :)

So it's agreed that WiiStation is the only person who gets awarded points for correctly picking yesterday's game, right?

He didn't look great, but the 45 yard bomb that he flicked into the end zone to Antonio Brown was literally placed where only the receiver could get it and should have been caught, other than that he took mostly dink and dunk stuff, you're right. For any QB though, 7 incompletions in 26 attempts isn't all that bad. Too bad he couldn't hit that little 1 yarder when it really counted in OT. Honestly I would have given Scobee one more shot there because it would have been like a 48 yarder, and I'm sure he wouldn't have missed a THIRD FG, at the same time I could see why they doubt him, he sucks!

This really needs to happen, it's a no-brainer (more ticket sales for the teams, more ad revenue).

Make preseason 3 games instead of 4, and have 6 playoff games week 1 postseason instead of 4, etc.

I guess the only possible complaint might be from teams that have little chance of seeing the playoffs and like the extra sales of week 4 preseason? That's really reaching though.

I think this just shows how even a great idea is terribly difficult to get through the quagmire of the modern NFL though. We get weird things like the longer extra point attempt (who cares even though it doesn't bother me), but something like this is just floating in the ether for a while yet.

Personally, I'd argue against postseason expansion. Twelve teams is plenty. If anything, what they should do is put in some requirement stating that you must have a winning record to make the postseason. That I'd be fine with. Someone like Houston or Kansas City last year did not deserve to be in the postseason. I don't think we should take the byes away from the 2 seeds just to allow a few more mediocre teams into the playoffs.

I have no problem with getting rid of the preseason game, though. And, really, the NFL doesn't need anything to make up the lost revenue. A $7.2 billion dollar per year league can afford to lose a single preseason game.

If there were more good teams, I might actually be inclined to agree with a post-season expansion.  The problem is it's not uncommon lately for bad teams to make the playoffs.  That speaks more to an issue w/ talent, than it does anything else.  Frankly, why not put that investment into athletics programs to groom more young stars.  Seems like a logical idea to me.

So now the Bengals are safer than last time.
And if Steelers and Baltimore keep losing.
