The Chefs had the longest time possible to prepare without having a bye week. So why do they look like garbage?

Because they aren't a particularly good team. Their offense hasn't improved and thus still lacks the deep threat. Their defense had to surrender to Peyton Wheelchair Noodlearm Manning last week.

Then add the fact how good the Packers can be at home and it's pretty easy to see why a maybe-playoff-contender stands no real chance.

This doesn't look like a playoff contender though. It looks like a team that will be at the bottom of the division. I didn',t expect them to win, but I did expect them to show up. They look worse than a South team!

You expected too much then. The Seahawks had only one good quarter, so why should the Chiefs have been better? Football fairy dust?

Because they're not supposed to be a dumpster fire, even if they're currently playing one on TV.

If someone can photoshop a wheelchair into this, I will be a happy man.

The Broncos' defense is really, really good though, and yet the Chefs managed to make good progress nonetheless even on a three day schedule. This team looks like it would get stymied by a high school defense, and its front seven ( the team's strength) looks average at best.

I think highly of the Pack, but this is...well, still fun for me, but much more lopsided than I thought

What are you talking about?

The Chiefs' streak of not having a WR TD was snapped. Something like 21 months in the making was ruined by one blown assignment

I was disappointed by that too, was hoping that streak would become one with the ages, like their playoff victory drought or consecutive playoff losses record.

Stupid Packers. Because of their lazy defense I will now have to go over the results and standings again.

Viqueens to take the division.
