Forums - Sports Discussion - The NFL Thread 2015: Denver Broncos win Super Bowl 50

Who will win Super Bowl 50?

Patriots 116 25.00%

Seahawks 41 8.84%

Colts 7 1.51%

Packers 42 9.05%

Broncos 85 18.32%

Ravens 8 1.72%

Cowboys 18 3.88%

Panthers 56 12.07%

Other 74 15.95%

Scoreboard 17 3.66%

Total:464

I really, really, really want to see the Broncos win today, but I'm sure the Pats will comeback to win in the final minute of the game and we are all going to be tragically forced to watch the Pats in yet another Super Bowl.

I would prefer to see the Cardinals to win only because I love Larry Fitz and he deserves a ring (Stinking Steelers) and I don't really fancy the Panthers after the whole Odell vs Norman fiasco. I think the Card's have a realistic chance to win because they are a more complete team all around. As long as Palmer doesn't make boneheaded mistakes like he did last game the Card's should win. It will be a good game nonetheless.

I don't know who I would be rooting for if it did end up being a Broncos vs Cardinals Super Bowl. I want Manning to get 1 last ring before he retires (although I like that Eli has more rings XP), but I also want Fitz and the Cardinals franchise to get there first ring.

Yes, I too unfortunately believe the Patriots will be in yet another Super Bowl, although it'd be nice if Peyton Manning would actually use those HGH shipments in their intended fashion, if only for today's game.

Hope to see Patriots vs Panthers in the Super Bowl.

I think he needs to go about 5-7 years back or to before his major injury.  He is good sometimes but has plenty of sloppy plays/throws.

Cardinals will beat the Panthers. Arizona plays like Seattle played in the second half against Carolina but they do it all game long. When Carolina lost two of their top defensive backs, it was a massive blow to a defensive that tended to give up big pass plays already. Seattle was just unwilling, or too arrogant, to alter their game-plan from the start. Cardinals are the more complete team and will attack that weakness.

Broncos having a chance will be all on Denver's defense. That's their real "MVP". Manning, at this point, is Trent Dilfer. If he doesn't realize that, he could cost them the game.

Germany's broadcaster has moved both of today's games to one of their primary channels. This means that the majority of the first game's first half won't be on TV because it interferes with primetime TV.

Boo, boo and an extra boo!!!

But....but then you'll have to watch an illegal stream, and more importantly we'll ALL be deprived of such insights as "it's fourth down from the opponents' two yard line, and if they don't get a touchdown here they may have to punt."

Hoping for a Pats win today, but Denver's D is pretty scary so I'm not supremely confident. Either way, hope both teams play it well and everyone stays healthy.

Regardless of the final outcome, I'd say this game has already been a success for Manning. More than one completion and no picks yet!

It's hard to beat anyone when they have that kind of protection.

Pats secondary is looking really soft already. Not a good sign.
