The Vikings already look like they could easily have proven me wrong.

How's that?

They had the game won except their kicker imploded lmao.

Lmao, I was calling that miss the whole time the Vikings had the ball that drive.

I keep telling myself these playoffs can't get any stupider, and I keep being wrong.

That game sucked... But the ending was great, a wins a win!

The Seahawks are the NFC's Patriots.

Without all the cheating...

Whoooooaaaaa, the Vikings missed?!?!

Your Avatar is my literal reaction to the entire 2015 NFL season. The thing is, is hasn't been surprising in a high quality, pedal to the metal kind of thrilling way, but more in a 'this is a trainwreck of hilarious proportions' kind of way. It's SO inconsistent, there are no teams that seem like they can operate on any kind of consistent basis outside of arguably NE and CAR (and they have been far from perfect or unaffected by injuries to say the least).

Seattle just absolutely pounded Arizona at their house, a team most people normally respect as a high quality outfit. Then they barely get past the Vikings and only win due to a ~1/250 odds missed chip shot, after putting up putrid results all afternoon. And it's not like the Vikings were a monster this year, by all accounts they were a mediocre team below the upper tier of teams.

Oh Vikings...

Which team do you think was luckier, the steelers last night or the seahawks today?

Really, I'm not excusing the behavior, just trying to add the proper context.

It's good you're not excusing the behavior, because the context doesn't mean jack shit. If the Eagles had been losing and therefore able to draft OJ Simpson, their fans would never have thrown bottles at Santa. If the Browns didn't need to win out, thered never have been Bottlegate. If Patrick Sherill was given a steady route instead of getting whatever leftovers were available, he wouldn't have given us the phrase going postal.

Simply put, the fans and the team mirrored each other, and it was pretty disgraceful.

Context is always important, it can be the difference between murder and manslaughter.  Sure a person is still dead, but you get convicted of manslaughter you get way less jail time.
