Forums - Sports Discussion - The NFL Thread 2015: Denver Broncos win Super Bowl 50

Who will win Super Bowl 50?

Patriots 116 25.00%

Seahawks 41 8.84%

Colts 7 1.51%

Packers 42 9.05%

Broncos 85 18.32%

Ravens 8 1.72%

Cowboys 18 3.88%

Panthers 56 12.07%

Other 74 15.95%

Scoreboard 17 3.66%

Total:464
Burek's week 1 picks:
PIT-NE 2 GB-CHI 1 KC-HOU 1 CLE-NYJ 2
IND-BUF 1 MIA-WAS 2 CAR-JAC 2 SEA-STL 1
NO-ARI 2 DET-SD 2 TEN-TB 1 CIN-OAK 2
BAL-DEN 2 NYG-DAL 2 PHI-ATL 1 MIN-SF MIN by 17

Went with a couple of longshots, first week might catch some teams sleeping.

All the evening games are all really exciting, but that left both Sunday afternoon slots with many mediocre matchups. Had to think long and hard to choose which games to watch.

4:25 goes to Titans @ Bucs - I don't expect a good game, but it's a chance to see top QB picks in one place, doubt I'll watch a lot of them this season.

1:00 was a much tougher choice, but I'll watch Colts @ Bills, because of Luck and Rex Ryan. Would have chosen Packers @ Bears, but it will probably be a blowout from the start.

And very hyped for MNF matchup Eagles @ Falcons, my #1 and #2 favorites.

Good luck to all the other predictors this season, I hope to repeat my success of making it to the playoffs.

1. Enter clearly identifiable terms. Whether you use team names (e.g. Patriots) or abbreviations (e.g. NE) is up to you.
2. If there's a dash in a cell, you don't have to enter anything. Conversely, if there is no dash, you have to enter something to complete the bracket.
3. Your twelve playoff teams and seeding have to be logically consistent with your divisional rankings. Likewise, the teams you eliminate in each playoff round have to be logical as well. If you mess this up, I will personally take the time to call you an idiot or worse, depending on the degree of your stupidity.
4. If brackets seem to be too much work for you, you are free to forego the submission of a bracket. It has no impact on regular season picks and the subsequent playoffs in the prediction league.

Well, i came  back because this  does amuse me more than fantasy football. Still, very tame compared to gaf. hopefullly the new mods are pretty liberal in banning.

Not a single playoff upset, huh? Nice to see people going out on a limb.

Anywho, yeah, Colts have an absurdly easy schedule. Their two hardest games, New England and Denver, are both at home as well. I'd honestly give them 50% odds at having the #1 seed in the AFC this year. Their defense is still paper thin, though, and if the likes of LaGarrette Blount and Jonas Gray can have career days going up against them, I can't see them representing the AFC in the Super Bowl.

There's always that one funny guy.

EDIT: Here's how it should look like:

PIT-NE 2 GB-CHI 1 KC-HOU 2 CLE-NYJ 2
IND-BUF 1 MIA-WAS 1 CAR-JAC 1 SEA-STL 1
NO-ARI 2 DET-SD 2 TEN-TB 2 CIN-OAK 1

Gotcha, may I ask, why the team 1, team 2 set up? Is it easier to enter into your tables?
