I think you're actually in 1st now, because of New Orleans, Detroit, and Indy winning. Unless castor changes a pick you have it locked up. Congrats. |
Oh, even better then. Guess my memory was poor on my own picks. Particularly with the Saints.

I have absolutely no idea what the Patriots were trying to do today. It looked like they were just playing to avoid getting injured (i.e. running the ball 21 times on 26 offensive plays in the first half), which I guess I'd be fine with, but if that's the gameplan, don't start Brady, especially behind that awful offensive line. In fact, don't start anyone who's a potential injury risk.
If Edelman's decently healthy for the divisional round, I think New England will be all right. The defense has mostly looked ok, but the offense has been a dumpster fire the past two weeks. I suspect that a lot of this comes from teams realizing they don't have to put anywhere near as much effort to cover the underneath routes without Edelman, and with that out of the way and no real running game to speak of, more attention can be put towards Gronk, effectively putting a lid on the Patriots' offense. Sort of like the inverse of what happened in the 2013 AFC Championship game.
Wow, a bad call on special teams (called Facemask, wasn't anywhere close to a Facemask) really screwed the Cardinals lol. Refs this year have been complete buffoons.
Boring close Broncos game.... pretty sad when they have reverse records.

Now consider that the Packers got destroyed by the Cardinals last week, what does that tell you about Green Bay's chances to win the NFC North? That's right, they are going to blow out the Vikings, because that's how this season works. |
I'll be rooting for Green Bay tonight!

I like ruffling feathers mostly. But I do see a Cards win. They're not unbeatable but they are a much stronger team who will be playing at home. Even without Matheiu at Safety last week - Bethel stepped up and did a bang up job. I think their defensive depth is unparalleled. Not weak at any position by any means. They also have the best Offense in the league (in total yards and points to be specific). I mean I could be wrong. They are fresh off of stomping the Packers so they may not be too frosty. But Bruce isn't resting anyone http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2015/12/28/cardinals-bruce-arians-says-he-wont-rest-players-vs-seahawks/77980356/. Listen to Bruce talk and you can tell they won't be taking the game lightly. So after that it's a question of match ups, and to me Arizona wins every match up. |
Yeah... About that...
