Raiders

I'm taking Raiders tonight.

But I hope SD wins on what might be the Raiders last game in Oakland and Woodson's last game in front of the home crowd. Fuck the Raiders.

Why is everybody picking Oakland? I know they're the favourite, but I didn't think it would be so overwhelming on one side.

San Diego is garbage.

Stop hating.

Sorry. Lemme rephrase.

San Diego has, at best, underachieved this season, and, at worst, performed extremely poorly, which has led nearly everyone here to conclude that they will continue this trend and lose at Oakland tonight.

(Also the only thing worse than the Chargers play this season is the quality of Qualcomm Stadium)

Jeez that game took forever, with all the penalties and what not.

Well the owners would prefer that San Diego move to LA but out of the three that are most likely that would really make the least sense since they only played in LA for one season and have been in San Diego for pretty much their entire existence.  The most logical choice would be for the Rams to move back to LA they started out as the Cleveland Rams but their longest stay was in LA from 1946-1994.

Taking the Redskins for Saturday.

I just ran across an interesting article someone dredged up from 2011 -- Cam Newton: Why Carolina Panthers' New QB Is the Worst NFL Draft Pick Ever

Here is my personal highlight:

"Let's ask Denver Broncos fans if they would like to trade Tebow for Newton straight up. They would laugh in your face. Football fans know even if the experts have no clue. We can spot a fraud when we see one.

In five years, when Tebow is leading Denver into the playoffs and Cam Newton is riding someone's bench, remember this article."

That article was already ridiculous after his rookie year but is going to be even more ridiculous once he wins his first MVP award after the season is over.  Not only is he one of the best players in the NFL he is also one of the most marketable players.
