As a defender aren't you allowed to try and get the ball??? The defender didn't attack from the back and 49er WR didn't even try to get the ball. I don't get how that's a penalty???

It was a bad call; my guess would be that the official just saw the hit and wasn't paying attention to what else the defender was doing.

(I'd personally argue this is why penalties should be challenge-able, but meh)

Man, I didn't expect the freaking niners to give NYG hell at home. That's a weird one.

I guess the silver lining is that this is an absolutely terrible division right now. Dumpster fire x4.

GOD. IS. REAL.

Awww damn, that game was more interesting to watch than the last 3 Cowboys games. So at least i got some entertainment this Sunday. And I'm glad I started Eli Manning in my fantasy team.

HAHA you mean the M.A.S.H. squad on offense doesn't make you excited? Tired of seeing 3rd and 4th stringers being ineffective?

Yes, the dream lives on. Your Redskins can still win the NFC East.

Awwwwwww yeah :D At this point it wouldn't surprise me.

Eli played okay. But there is just no excuse for letting the 49ers hang in there. A single thing goes wrong on that last drive and boom, they would have lost to that trainwreck at home.

The Cowboys will be useless until Romo comes back. The Eagles won against a completely flat NO team today. I dunno. Redskins are still every bit in this hunt. More so than the Cowboys and Eagles at this point.

Would the Redskins have beaten the 49ers tonight? I think honestly they would have.

Bruhhhh Eli played great today. The entire team was on his back the whole game. 41/54 completions, 400+ yards, 3 TDs and he made a 4th quarter comeback drive without his two best receivers! He maybe had 3 bad throws the whole game. The reason the 49ers stayed in was because as usual the Giants defense collapsed in the second half. There was ZERO pass rush and our secondary was exposed.

Cousins would not have been able to do what Eli did today.

Well the 49ers aren't the worst one win team in the NFL. That being said their former coach has the best one loss team in Division one College Football in Michigan.
