Forums - Sony Discussion - Jak and Daxter 4 concept art from Scribble Pad Studios

It looks like the art in books that would accompany old NES games UN the instruction manual. I'd love to see more games take a style that fulfils what was imagined but not executed in those early fantasy settings.

This brings up painful memories of abandonment. Jak, y u leave us?!?!?!

Fucking ND.

Oh well. At least they gave us TLoU to make up for it.

I don't like the new Jak design and, as someone who played the PS2 games, I'm glad they didn't go with it.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Thanks for reminding me that we are never going to get Jak 4.

If anything, looking at these designs of Jak should make you glad it never happened.

Yeah, but I'm not necessarily talking about this Jak 4!

artwork looks interesting. The jak and daxter series has had a natural progression into being more mature and darker, so I actually think the jak artwork is not too far off. Not every series needs to maintain the same art style to be a great series, just look at how wind waker deviated from majora's mask.

I still am dissappointed that jak 4 isn't made, but I would rather naughty dog work on a good game (TLOU) instead of pushing out a dissappointing sequel with half assed ideas

The environments look gorgeous. It's just Jak that looks...odd. He doesn't need to look realistic; he never did before and it worked.
