Forums - Microsoft Discussion - “Sea of Thieves is the best game Rare has ever made” claims Kudo Tsunoda

“I think what you’re gonna see in Sea of Thieves as we go forward and start talking more about the game is how Rare is enabling that kind of player-generated emotional and memory-driven stories that can happen within a game to happen within Sea of Thieves. And I think that’s what Rare does well. That’s what we’re going to keep having them doing in the future. And Sea of Thieves is gonna be the best game that Rare has ever made.”

Yeah right...

Until their next Xbox game, which will then become the new best Rare game ever.

"This game one of our devs is making at the moment is pretty mediocre compared to what they used to do" says publisher....now if something like that happened that would be newsworthy. :D

But on Sea of Thieves, I'm not interested in it, I also think its announcement disappointed a lot of Rare fans.

Game looked great at E3, I am hyped!

I call bullshit but honestly I dont care. This could possibly be the first good pirate game ever which is something Ive wanted since I was a kid. I will never understand why the setting/genre is underused.

Meh, not even remotely interested in Sea of Thieves. Hope this guy isn't all talk, Rare isn't exactly brimming with a ton of amazing games over the past 15 years.

You wouldn't consider Assassin's Creed 4 to be even a "good" pirate game?  The rad pirate stuff was like, the ONLY reason I got that game!  XD
