And don't you think some of them, fed up with waiting for the free version, would have just went ahead and bought it with the discount? |
As far as I'm concerned, the discount was only $10 dollar off, it wasn't that big of a deal.

It was a great game in my eyes if it could get rid of nasty server issues. Now that those issues are gone, DriveClub is exceptional. I just hope Evolution Studios does not give up on the series and work on a sequel in the near future.

Yeah it won't have been that big of a deal. But theres still something to it that can counter claims that the PS+ version hindered the games sales potential. |
I agree considering the ps plus edition was postponed much longer that anybody anticipated. From that period, if you really wanted the game, you should have got it by now.

Probably because they failed to make a properly functional game at launch... Plus, letting employees go after a game is complete is fairly standard...
That's actually pretty surprising seeing as how it's had so many issues before the release, and I'd expected hardly anybody to purchase it since they had announced the PS Plus edition.
Shows just how viable racing games are for PS4 if this can clear 2 million sales. Project Cars is at, what, 500k?
On another note I wonder what Firesprite (formerly SCE Liverpool) is cooking up...

Disheartening reality is disheartening...

As far as I know no one at Playground Games was let go after they finished Horizon 2 but they are already working on the 3rd game.
One of the most underrated games in recent history. 2 million is great but DriveClub dropped price very early so large part of those sales were budget price.
I cannot imagine toilet-free life.
Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Amazing achievrment and based on post launch treatment well deserved
