Forums - Nintendo Discussion - IGN: Becoming a dad brought me back to Nintendo

Why should I be? The author himself says he doesn't want/have to time to invest himself in video games anymore.

Not having time is something that happens in life regardless. :/

Not if you get a nice girl that works hard and finances your staying at home to play games.

I never needed bringing back as I always was mature enough to not be insecure about enjoying "immature" games.

As so many before me, I just gotta say "This". Most "mature" games arent even mature, not really

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

That's pretty neat story. I had somewhat similar experience except the baby part.

I had pause with Nintendo in PS2 era, but after I become dad in 2010. I become biggest Nintendo fan than ever before.

Have you played pikmin 3? i tried it out last year and it was  suprisingly good. Im now mostly into every Nintendo series xD except maybe the sports games

Offcourse, Pikmin 3 for me is one of the best games this gen. ;)

That's an odd article. What is its point?

Cool story. The same thing happened to one of my best friends after he came over and played 3D World and Smash4. Glad the author changed his mind, because the whole "Nintendo is kiddie, not mature, and embarrassing to play in front of friends" mindset that I see so often on the webz is so stupid and played out. Every console has its positives and negatives and is worth owning (currently saving up money for an X1 since I already own a WiiU, PS4, and PC); and I wish for once that everyone could discuss games instead of constantly downplaying other systems as some sort of justification for their purchase of a toybox.

Hi

Honestly when I have kids of my own, i want them to play beautiful stories like tlou and other games like it so they can learn something from it. I won't feed them Nintendo games.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

That sounds too good to be true *glares suspiciously at Faxanadu*

Of course I dont have that. I think this is only possible if you look like Brad Pit and are into not so cute girls.

Reading this gave me shivers of anguish. That's why I will never have children or a girlfriend, it kills you as a gamer.

How old are you?
