Back to the two protagonist of this thread. ( TO BE CONTINUED )

The big question is wether it can be ahead LTD by the end of the year.

Yeah...I mean...no...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I still see a chance for Xbox One to beat PS4 this year in USA.
But Global PS4 kills Xbox One.

I think it is possible for the XB1 to beat the PS4 in the US. The Xbox brand is still quite popular here in the states. There no doubt the PS4 will annihilate the XB1 in the rest of the world however.

I assume you're talking globally in the USA? It's certainly out of the question world wide, given Xb one has 0.00001% chance of outselling PS4 worldwide in the holidays, this year or any year after that, with the possible exception of a holiday year after the 9th gen starts, if there is one.

If you are talking US only, then clearly, yes it is possible of the Jan-Sept sales gap is relatively small. Has anyone actually said for the USA that Xb one cannot possibly have a winning year based just on winning Oct-Dec? Of course it can happen, but it will probably not be a big enough whole of year win to erase most of the LTD difference.

If they don't do it this year then I don't see it happening any other year that matters. Also recall that Xb one did win April NPD, so if things go according to predictions it will be 8 to PS4 and 1 to Xb one.

I make a lot of thread. A LOT. i am very bored, am i? :D

The sense of this thread. There is a chance for XBO to beat PS4 in a year thanks only holidays, the history say is possible, the main example of this thread is GC VS XBOX in 2003.

About what i think, is going to happen? nah... i don't think so... but of course can happen, why not? ;P

And of course i talk about US, is not even a question...

Thought, i don't give honestly, i am not a Sony fan, i am not a MS fan...

In the U.S, I would say that there's a good 90% chance that the Xbox One will manage to beat the PS4 in total sales for 2015, due to high holiday sales.

Send a Friend Request On PSN :P

In terms of the US, sure.

Isn't the gap like a few 100k? A Black friday victory and the Halo launch could easily balance the current difference if so. Add in a slight advantage over the holidays and then you have X1 winning 2015 in the US. Not saying I expect it to happen but its very possible

Gap is somewhere near 800k (770k?) according to the guru Zhang who keeps the best track I've ever seen of this kind of thing.

The way I see this is simple :

PS4 stays $399 = X1 ties PS4 for 2015 US Sales

PS4 goes to $349 = PS4 moderately wins total 2015 US Sales

PS4 goes to $299 = PS4 murderbaths the X1 in total 2015 US Sales
