With a price cut sure. They got some good third party partnerships this holidays so this could definitely happen. Just doubt Taken King will have half of the effect Destiny had when it released in September

Sony said they expect 38.8M shipped in one of the early 2016 months, I forget which one. Maybe March or April.

Only with a $100 price cut would this be possible I think. I think 36m shipped is going to be about right.

Sony is expecting 38.8million by March 31st 2016, and that's after they upped their estimates by 0.5million with today's Financial Results. No way that they'll reach 38million by December 31st.

To be fair, all of their sales projections for PS4 thusfar have been over estimates.

With Metal Gear Solid V releasing in September as well it may not need to.
