I can't download it because of a bug with the upgrading software :/

You can manually download it here.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Is there any reason it keeps changing languages midway? >.<

Did you choose English at the start?

Yeah. I now found a work around so nvm.

When it was installing on another laptop with 8.1, everything went with no setbacks. However, after installing it on my Windows 7 laptop, everything turned sluggish. Taskbar icons wouldn't load, Start menu wouldn't pop up, Cortana and the search bar wouldn't work, images wouldn't load, propietary apps wouldn't open, Task Manager would become unresponsive after a while... not a good start. The weird thing is that Task Manager showed a normal RAM, with Chrome being the process hog it is. Nothing unusual. After a 4 restarts, computer and apps works a bit better. Start menu opens 3 seconds after, Cortana/Search bar opens sometimes when I click on it. I hope this gets better after a week.

that "sounds" like you probably have something installed that hooks explorer, perhaps something in your tray or an addin.

Something that hooks Explorer in what way? I really don't know what could it be on the system tray. It might have to do that this computer is one of the bloatware HP ones.

If it was a bloatware HP you upgraded from the HP image then it would have a heap of HP tools installed, many of which will be hooking into explorer. By hooking I mean they have registered programs that intercept messages to explorer or start bar or the system tray. They do this to "try" and be smart in how they interact with the system so they can perform actions based on what you do. If one of those tools isn't completely compatible with win 10 or has a bug you will see delays or errors or freezes in explorer, start meny etc.

personally well I get any sort of OEM supplied machine for myself or for someone else the first thing I do is nuke the installed OS from orbit and do a clean install. barring that try removing some of the unneeded HP tools from the control panel add remove programs. you could also try going to HP website and making sure they are all updated.

I changed my PC's country setting to the United States. It used to keep switching to be Hebrew because it was set to Israel.

8.1 annoyed me. This should be better without me even trying it. I have tried Windows 10 phone though. If that's anything to go by, then I'm ok with it. Edge is shit 💩 though. I hate not having a forward button on browsers.

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

Love it so far, I have set up our three pc's my father two and my mother and none of have one complaint it is a success story for sure and microsofts stock price reflects this

Well I've tried to install it three times and it keeps coming up with this:

Well done MS, you've created the most useless error message in history. Downloading the ISO now onto USB to try and install it that way, hopefully get more luck.

... I made a major mistake and forgot to charge my laptop while downloading it, 95% in and 0% battery -__-
Attempt 2 here we go

I don't mean to be cruel, but that's hilarious XDDDDDDD.

OT, I did something very stupid. I upgraded to windows 10, and I was loving it, and then I thought, "let's format my computer!". So I did it, without even thinking that "return to factory" is Windows 8 in my case. Yeah, I know, I'm stupid XDDD. But the OS is great, Windows Edge works fine, it's faster and I like de UI more.
