I'm perfectly fine with them changing up certain aspects of the remake. The newer, the better.

Funny how people thought the opposite was true 2000+ years ago. When the Romans wanted to reform their laws they always looked at their past for examples. The older a law, the more prestigious it was.

Not trying to make a point here, I just thought it was an interesting change of perspective.

I'm excited. I liked the re-done parts of FFX HD. It'll be interesting to see if they go that route or completely redo everything. I want to know how that Mako Reactor theme or the Jenova theme will sound in this remake

One Winged Angel needs to be the version with the Black Mages (Advent Children versions)

#1 Amb-ass-ador

Not worried at all considering Square Enix is the best when it comes to bringing high quality music in games as far as japanese game publishers go ...

Well I wasn't big on the remixes from FFX HD.

I want all the music to be remade (not necessarily remixed) with a combination of orchestral and synthetic sounds when appropriate. More so then remixing previous tracks I'm quite fond of the idea of them introducing new ones, if this is a properly modern remake, many scenes would play out differently and the requirements of the soundtrack will expand. As oppose to just having a set of themes which you plot over specific scenes, they'll need to compose music to the specific on screen drama similar to a movie score. This didn't really happen in 1997 because there was no voice acting, physical performance or the kind of nuance that comes with facial animation.

In my mind, if you're going to remake a game, you need to remix its music too. It's all part of the "Remaster Package"

It would just be weird to be playing a game with PS4-quality graphics and PS1-quality music/sounds.

I want "One Winged Angel" to be in there.

Why change perfection?

keep the theme song:
