google it.  They said once again anyone who wants it to compete with the other consoles in performance will be badly disapointed.

That hasn't been said for a long time actually. There was an old quote from Iwata used about the Wii U when it was released, that has resurfaced in speculation about the NX. As far as I know, the only thing I have seen about NX power is that dude on twitter. Although, with that, there was a crap ton of rumors about all the consoles before they were released, some saying that they were way under powered and some that said they were ultra powered. In the end the only ones that knew were the designers of the machines because the dev kits didn't have specifications due to them not being finalized.

Actualy this is recent statment from Miyamoto:

"What we are always striving to do is to find a way to take novel technology that we can take and offer it to people at a price that everybody can afford. And in addition to that, rather than going after the high-end tech spec race and trying to create the most powerful console, really what we want to do is try to find a console that has the best balance of features with the best interface that anyone can use.

But really what's most important to us is, how do we create a system that is both unique and affordable so that everyone can afford it and everyone can enjoy it."

I would be completely satisfied if it was easy to make game for and moderately below xbox one in terms of power.  It's far more important that Nintendo can release at a lower price. With the right price and a great launch lineup with Zelda, Dragon Quest 11, and more it can start with wii like momemtum.

I think Nintendo with NX will to try to do similar thing they done with Wii.

True, but everything he said is in conjunction with the Wii U and it's failures. It's also about what they have done, that's not saying they aren't going to try a different tactic. A more powerful console with a cheaper price point while attempting to be a hybrid system could easily be the something unique. It would not be hard to create a console that is equal to the PS4 and/or X1 or similar at a cheaper price point. The tech has come a long way and even some of the ARM processors are making massive strides while being dirt cheap. It's all speculation though. I could very likely see them pull a rabbit out of a hat on this one, especially since there are already games sort of being announced for the system lol.

Not exactly, for instance Wii U was not affordable console on launch it not even now. Everything he said is in conjunction with Wii not Wii U, Wii U failed almost in every way in comparison with Wii.

They again need affordable console (around $249) with good gimmick (Wii motion controls were very strong, while gamepad completely failed) maybe that hybrid device or something similar, and without Wii U stupid mistakes like bad name, terrible marketing, bad launch titles, software drouth..

In terms of trying to widen their userbase with new gamers, power alone is not Nintendo's problem. They have a serious image problem. How to become relevant again, when it's all about Sony and MS, and not be regarded as the other thing that's kind of for kids? Developers need to be convinced as well, these things go hand in hand.

In an ideal world the NX would be stronger than the PS4, but it's going to be weaker.

Below in power...

going on a console race, 3 years late, similar price point and 60M, or so, behind the other 2 consoles is just suicide.
Nintendo will fight whit a good hardware ( well below in power, but still good), good lauch games and a aggressive price. perhaps something like $200-250 and a great games like Zelda and pokken.
Anyway, they are not going to top ps4. PS4 is going to score Wii and Original PS like numbers, 90-100 million sales, minimum. NX will make profit, but will not hit amazing numbers, at best it will hit N64 like numbers.

pfff at least try not to sound so ridiculous. whenever wii u sucessor releases (not necessarily NX) it will be the first 9th gen console. It's main competitors will be the consoles released 1 or 2 years after it.

Based on? you don't even know what ps4 top will be.

"PS4 is going to score Wii and Original PS like numbers, 90-100 million sales, minimum"

haha, no. I would say it's in the realms of possibility and optimistical predictions but far from certainty.

"NX will make profit, but will not hit amazing numbers, at best it will hit N64 like numbers."

wow, you don't even know what the console is and already talks about it's LTD?

It's going to be 2 Wii U's duct-taped together, which is also the equivalent of 4 Wii's and 8 GC's.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Based on current rumors, it's looking like it's going to be a lot weaker than the ps4.

What's the point in using imaginary things as basis?

At least you don't pretend you aren't trolling, unlike others.
