I wish more publishers did that. I guess they learned from their mistakes with Skyrim.

I'd be worried if the game wasn't already ready. This is Bethesda we're talking about, so they need a lot of time fox fixing bugs. That is, I doubt even this is going to be enough for them.
I can't believe that he actually mentioned the b word. They never address it or admit that bugs are the major problem in bethesda's games. They more or less just act like a politician over it. Never admit a mistake til after the fact (if ever) and always talk about the least important things. Will fallout 4 be more of the same? Probably.
If they do this now then Bethesda won't have anything to do after the game's release.
Bug-fixing mode? Looking at Fallout: New Vegas I'm surprised that is a thing.

they cant do everything... new vegas had realy good writing, 4 will have less bugs.
Yeah, after the atrocities that were Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim this is good to hear.
That's great news to hear! So pretty minimal chance it'll be delayed then. And if the 4-6 months before release are bug fixes and minor changes that should mean it'll run pretty well at launch.
Obviously such a big game will have bugs that'll need patched. But this makes me happy to hear.

I've just downloaded the latest 7.5 GB update for Witcher 3 with "new movement scheme" amongst other marvels, I am sure Bethesda can out do that, have some faith :)
