I can't remember actually. My brother talks about the great times we had with the Commodore 64, so I guess I played on that system first (I can't remember it though). The first system I remember playing on was my brothers' Sega Megadrive.

Gen 3 and the master system for me when I was kid. Outside of sonic 1,2 mortal kombat and Mickey's Castle Of Illusion I didn't have any decent games for it though.

It was definitely a gen 3 console, but I don't remember if it was with a NES or a Master System II.

Gen 1, with atari 2600 and computer with msx1, played too Metal gear and pinguin adventure my fav game on this :)

hmm. Wasn't NES 3rd generation? If so then 3rd generation. I ended up playing earlier systems, but NES was my first.

Stupid question, but what gen is Atari 2600? Because that's where I started.

2nd gen with the Atari 2600. Actually, it was a Gemini, made by coleco, which was essentially an Atari 2600.

NES (Famicom) is the first console I've ever played. and my mom bought it to us 3 boys. with only 2 controllers, really hate to wait. good times. :)

The GBA/GameCube was when I started to pick up video games, but I have played on the N64 and SNES several of times before that
