Well we still don't have a release date for both versions of DQXI and what they showed of the PS4 version didn't give hope to it being a 2016 title but maybe the're just saving a proper reveal for TGS.

In regards to DQX, wasn't it announce for the Wii U back 2011? It didn't arrive on the platform til 2013.

The most convincing case for NX in 2016 is simply that the 3DS is in need for a replacement, especially in Japan.

That is the norm for the industry now. Nintendo will shoot themselves in the foot to do another official E3 reveal (with very few games) and then wait another 14months to release the actual system.

I'm looking forward to it. I loved my time with Wii U and have lots of great games. I'll place it carefully back in its box, and watch the collectors value of the system and games skyrocket years down the road. Bring on NX!

We still dont know what is NX, nothing implies that home console or replacement for Wii U.

If it's not a successor then why isn't DQXI for WiiU?

Because Wii U 3rd party support died in Wii Us first year!?

I love my wii u but I'm so darn curious that I wouldn't mind an earlier reveal... So long as it doesn't wind up being terrible :p

It woul release in 4 yeras, but it already announced less than 3 years into its lifecycle.

WiiU released November 2012.

We haven't even hit 3 full years on the market. You never usually get games announced this early. It's been just over 2-1/2 years...

 

If NX releases before/during November 2012 it will be 4 years or less on the market. That is not normal.

I hope that happens. I'd love to sell my Wii U at a healthy profit.
