If the Christians start legislating their religion, I would leave. (USA)

Finally someone mentined my #1 fear that would make me leave mine

I already left. I lived in S. Korea for a year then spent 6 more months backpacking through Asia. I've been living in Ireland since 2007.

I won't move back to America. I go back once a year to see my friends and family but after a week I'm ready to leave. It's embarrassing telling people I'm American. We lost our backbone. Everything upsets us. You can't say the words, gay, retard or black man with out someone crying foul. We have a 1st ammendment where we have freedom of speech but yet when we speak our opinion we get crusified. We've changed our values to suit foreigners moving to our country. No more pledge of alegiance in schools. Now its wrong to say Merry Christmas. Soon we won't be singing our National Anthem before sporting events. No other country changes who they are because it offends foreigners. It's a disgrace. We are losing our identity. We are a bunch of pussies and it's getting worse by the day.

That's enough for me to leave.

I'm just a dude from Philly living in Ireland.

The first part, I agree 100% and I would salute you for having the courage to leave over these things, because I think the ever-lowering freedom of speech in America is sad to me.

But then you start about the pledge of allegiance and the anthem and I'm like... they're better off without these things. Nationalism is a bad thing. And indictrination of children into it by making them recite words they don't even understand is worse.

Still, packing your things and leaving requires some serious balls. You're a strong person.

Damn. I guess america is just really good at hating Nazi's .

Well, the Nazis were the last American enemy who were demonstrably more evil than them, so I can understand why they retain the hate after all these years. Reminds them of their g(l)ory days

Lol, what country are you from again?

Check the link below. (note to Admins: it's not really porn please don't ban me!)

The Czech Republic.

What I said maybe sounded a little worse than I wanted it to. I didn't want to imply that Americans were evil or anything. I meant that WW2 was clearly a good vs. evil conflict. Every war they've been in since then were much greyer.

Oh that's easy, if what happens in the anime Gyo really happens, fuck that shit.

I don't like anime, but if there are sixteen-year old girls with katanas powerful enough to destroy a truck by punching it running around, I personally think it would be awesome!

Well part of the reason I left is because my wife is from here. I can see your point about the pledge of alegiance but I was trying to prove my point that we change to suit outsiders which is sad in my opinion. Now that I live abroad it's easier to see things from a different point of view and feel differently about it.
