Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Crunchyroll Wii U app can now be used without a subscription!

Ok totally getting this.

Check the link below. (note to Admins: it's not really porn please don't ban me!)

I was confused it didnt come that way. My PS3 and iPhone Crunchyroll apps never needed subscription to work so it was strange that the Wii U ver. did

Wow, I might just try it out now.

I wasn't aware you could use the app without a subcription. Though I already had a sub back when I downloaded it, so I guess it doesn't really make a difference for me.

I just hope they improve the stability now. Every once in a while it'll just skip to the next episode or restart. I do like having the second screen when I need to leave the room, but man it annoys me when it blacks out in the middle of an important scene. -_-

YESS; IS THIS ALSO IN EUROPE????

just checked and yes, it is. Too bad though you can't choose languages/other subtitles, hence why I didn't really use it before. But I might do so now.

Pretty cool for people who like crunchyroll. But since WiiU's internet browser can access kissanime.com, I go there to watch my anime in HD for free Its pretty painful to navigate though.

Just went there... now you may call it HD if you're so inclined, the same way you may call yify torrents HD if you're so inclined, but video and audio quality is not 1/100 what you get on Crunchyroll at any setting. And the interface indeed sucks.

I like my anime downloaded.

480p standard definition is still usually better then internet rips.

If they're not dubbed into english, they do have english subs. It's just too bad nothing tells you beforehand if they are dubbed or subbed.
