I hope so. The new Fable will probably flop. I think MS needs to also give Forza a break. Perhaps tell Turn 10 to make a kart racer or something else. 

I'm actually lookign forward to Fable Legends but I agree it may somewhat flop, Theese days metacritic can really undervalue older IP sequals and it does effect sales, I think Forza even though its yearly Horizon and Motorsport are 2 different games making it more of every 2 years per game just under the same IP's name. Some sort of kart or pod racer could be fun as a side project but in the end they will just get called for "copying".

Well, they have new ips that I don't think will ever see the light on ps4 such as scalebound, sunset and quantum break so at least they are trying more than last gen IMO. scalebound and sunset are from third parties though

It's because people are attracted  to controversy. Tomb raider by name is mostly associated with playstation. Phil Spencer knew what he was doing when the deal was made for Tomb Raider. Phil admitted his reasoning for funding tomb raider because as a fan of uncharted he had no answer for he game even though he was invested in projects like uncharted and they weren't on level. Hell even EA has ripped off sonys god of war. Can't blame people but microsoft is a console  manufacturer. In this day and age being able to pump out your own  games tells your consumers about your character .  So far third get in and they still have no identity outside of superior online.

Halo and gears are IPs that were bought from outside developers. If you look at the list of IP created or spawned from Microsoft owned studios the list Is rather paltry.

Bungie was bought by Microsoft. Not Halo

If Microsoft never bought halo then how does it own the IP? 

 

Also a decent chunk of you seem to be confusing what first second and third party exclusives mean. The point to my post was that ms does not risk money on creative ideas, they're clearly far more fond of buying there way to success instead as opposed to the other two major console platforms.

Oh I heard about that game before but didn't know it was published by EA. Thought a smaller publisher handled it considering how poor its sales were.

Haven't played it though but it totally looks like God Of War with a different protagonist, but far inferior.

MS bought bungie, then let them go at 2007, and bungie agree give Halo to MS.
