I wouldn't call Bravely Default (one terrible game) and some DQ ports support "like few other third parties". It's actually quite terrible if you realize how big the company is, especially in Japan, where the 3DS dominates.

Ok. Since you have no idea, here goes the list of games Square-Enix either developed or published for the 3DS:

Bust-a-Move Universe
Slime MoriMori Dragon Quest 3: Daikaizoku to Shippodan
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D
Heroes of Ruin
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy
Dragon Quest VII
Gyrozetter: Wings of the Albatross
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call
Final Fantasy Explorers
Theatrhythm Dragon Quest
Bravely Second: End Layer
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

Pretty poor list. Ports, remakes, spin-offs.

Where are the mainline FF, DQ and KH games? We're talking about an 18 million unit userbase here in Japan.

You would downplay any kind of list anyways. "Meh. I don't like theses games so the list is crap!"

That's pretty much what I expected.

But the point still stands that they did support the 3DS quite a bit. But I will leave you to your usual agenda. I can't be bothered any more for tonight.

Only you could think that list would be great. It's hardly downplaying when the biggest userbase in Japan hasn't received any big mainline game from S-E.

Show me a list of great and original games and I won't have to downplay it.

Why do people keep forgetting TWEWY exists

Part of me is excited...but another part is sad.

Not because of the platform argument, but because now Togashi will be even less motivated to write a new Hunter x Hunter chapter. At least get them to the Dark Continent, damn it! DX

The vast majority of those games are really good, too. Dream Drop Distance is quite an important game for KH fans in terms of knowing the connection between KHII and KHIII. Bravely Default & Second are really good JRPGs that harkens back to the FFV Job System. Overall, it's quite a lean-and-mean list.

Bravely Default is one of the worst games I played this generation. I rage quit the game. The sequel is flopping in Japan, so good to see I'm not alone.

DQ11 will be on PS4, and then when it fails to sell very well, DQ12 will be on a handheld device of some sort.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Well, I had a blast playing it with my undergrad friends. Amazing how people have different opinions, don't you think? ^_^
