Forums - PC Discussion - Are you upgrading to Windows 10?

Its almost here, only 6 days to go.  I signed up for the upgrade, Windows 10 looks better than 8 but I'm not sure if I'm gonna use it.  I know when you upgrade your OS its gonna delete everything so I backed up everything I want, but what's gonna happen to my Microsoft Office and Norton subscriptions?

Most definitely. It's new, it's better and it's free. The better question would be "Why are you NOT upgrading"?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Already have xD

Does it delete your stuff? Not a chance I'll be upgrading then!

It doesn't unless you tell it too... Its been like that since Windows 7... Apperently the OP has never clicked the "upgrade" button while setting up windows before... Unless he has a version of windows that is older than windows 7 but even then, you can still keep all ur files and stuff

I'm probably going to upgrade. My computer needs a good formatting anyway. I might wait a bit to see impressions but from what I've read so far, Windows 10 is going to be a winner. Skipped 8 entirely, so I'm still on 7.

Been using 10 for months now. It is a great OS. 8.1 was great as well. Those still stuck on 7 need to move on.

im already on windows 10
it combines the best of windows 8 and 7
