Nixxes will most probably port the PC and then PS4 version (after having done the X360 version).

Hey maybe they'll have time to make the game run at 60fps on PS4 (even fluctuating) like with TRDE?

SE are complete idiots. They'll lose sales this Christmas because of bigger titles launching alongside TR and lose sales next Christmas because not many people will be interested. Absolute insanity. The only chance of getting decent sales on the PS4 version is to throw in any DLC, enhance the graphics and sell it for half the price.

 

Although the PS4 version can potentially look better, there is NO WAY that PS4 version will be superior to the timed exclusive Xbox1 version.  I bet there will be some sort of graphic parity clause.

It could bomb in comparison to what SE expect for it on PS4. Their expectations for the last Tomb Raider game were way off.

Not meeting expectations and bombing arent the same thing. People seem to confuse expected sales as breaking even.

In the long run this game can still be a multi million seller on PS4. It just depends if its good. The success of year late port depends on critical reception. Lets not forget late ports on PS3 had great success.

Was this a PR fail/leak? I can't imagine MS would allow them to announce it for PS4 until after holiday period.

"yay let's delay the game a year on PS4" who thought this would be a good idea should be fired

No major surprise. Will give the XOne version around a year over the PS4 which is what we expected; Steam version is a surprise but not a huge one.

Still going to get it on the XOne though. This doesn't impact my opinion at all and for those who had seriously decided they wanted the game; it won't for the most part.

Same, I'm really surprised to see this announcement well before the XB1 release. Wasn't expecting PC and PS4 announcements until early 2016.

I'll buy it haha, but just not at a 60 or even 40 dollar price tag. I'll wait for the Ultra extreme edition and wait till it drops to like 20. Tomb Raider 2013 dropped pretty fast in price so i expect this to do so as well.
