When I saw closely, these things gives me chills all over my body.

Yeah, particularly the one on the far left which looks like a cylinder. It's just not right.

Note to self: Send Cone cylindrical flowers.

Well noone really sends me any flowers so it would still be a nice change of pace.

Always knew you cared.

As kitler53 post showed this isn't the first time we've seen daisies like this. It's probably just the result of fasciation, not radiation.

So this photo is actually pretty cool.

Bets:

1. If the Wii U sells closer to 10 million LTD by 1/3/2015 I win. If it sells closer to 9.5 million LTD by 1/3/2015 OfficerRaichu15 wins (winner gets 2 weeks of avatar control)--Lost.

Those mutated daisies look pretty creepy...

shows what radiation can do to all lifeforms :/

That is kind of cute and creepy at the same time. @OP, as other stated, it could very well be just a coincidence but I would love to see some research taken into the effects of the disaster on the area. There have been some strange abnormalities in the area around Chernobyl disaster so anything is possible in regards to the effects of Fukushima.

Fasciation happens naturally all the time, and can be caused by many things. A single plant exhibiting fasciation tells us nothing. Just because it happened near Fukushima doesn't mean it was caused by radiation from the facility. And even if a causal link is established, I hope it's not used to further stoke anti-nuclear sentiment, not when thousands of people die every week on average from pollution from coal-fired power plants.

Indeed.
