Gurren Lagann. I like epic plots and mechas so... Kill la Kill has stronger characters though.

Gurren Lagan has some of the best lines in an action anime I have ever heard.

Kill La Kill only has the action.

I'll have to go with Kill La Kill. I liked that anime better. Gurren Lagann was too goofy for me.

Nope. He's a little whiny bitch who constatly needs to be bailed out by his friends. Finally doing something manly for the last few seconds of the show because there is no other choice does not make him "badass".

I like Kill la Kill better, but its honestly just preference. You asking whether $1m in gold is better than just $1m.
