Correct, and im saying there's a 99% chance the OP will be true which is why i decided to post it anyway.
Last year they made a profit of 69.8 billion yen (up 96.7%) in the same quarter and they had no major issues or aquisitions this year

They would have made a usual $5bn profit if it wasn't for that writedown. And revenue was expected to be down since people might be waiting for Windows 10 to come out.

Yes we do know. There is simply no way that Sony could suffer a loss that great and still exist. There is no realistic way that could happen.
They totally failed with Nokia. This is why I don't want them near AMD.

So PC and mobile are down.. but xbox and surface and cloud are up (yay?)
They beat estimates yes, but their stock still dived.
