Forums - Microsoft Discussion - 1.4m Xbox consoles shipped Q4

Nothing to write home about, but it's not bad either. Those trade-in deals, 1TB SKU, and The Witcher III bundle in Europe did the trick at making the XBO up YOY at the quarter.

I'm curious to see how well it will fare this quarter. Last September, MS launched their console in 27 additional countries with the majority of them at the beginning of the month. While we don't know the initial shipments for the Tier 2 markets, we do know that MS shipped "over 100K" in China. This time, the XBO will not have that luxury.

Isn't it amazing how much anger a shipment report can cause among fans?

Could you imagine if they actually had a great one!?!

With Xbox 360 shipments falling off a cliff nowadays, the big increases are coming from Xbox One momentum.

Great.

I cant wait to see how well they do through the holiday season.

You don't? It's behavior that happened before. For reasons I already provided. But congrats to interpret a "yes", even when it's not actually written.

Hm I'm not sure if you are trying to push something here, seems like you are kind in the defensive.

I asked if it was again XBO + 360 combined and ypu answer me with "Sony did it before", what's the need for it?

So yeah, I'm interpreting it as a yes, 'cause yeah, I'd to as you quote me and do not actually answer my question rather than try to put some comparison instead for whatever reason.

You still didn't get it, perhaps I should make it even more clear. There is a reason Sony did it last gen and there is a reason MS does it this gen. The reason is the interesting part, not who did it first.

Or if I said that I am completely certain that X1 is undertracked by atleast 500k :).

Its not really empressive numbers, look at sony this weeks vgchartz numbers all playstation systems sold combined 300k in this week alone.

Yes, but didn't you hear. Only sales in the US matter.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

at least up YoY
next quarter will be the same with Halo and Gears Remaster

Also the new 1TB bundels will account for the first time and should raise profibility

So what is the reason? I guess sony did it because it was more convenient to hide the real sales because they were below expectations, now XB1 is in the same position to make comparison look less bad that they already are.

Estimated:

[XB1] 1,100,000
[360] 300,000

Lifetime, i believe the One should be at 14.1 million shipped, and the 360 at a bit less than 88 million...
