It was kind of answered. Her Chakram was a special weapon. Remember the episode about the two pieces. One half could kill gods. But both sides wieled power too. I always put that towards her ability to deal with gods. Especailly when she fused the two halfs together. She couldn't kill gods. But I saw Xena between Herc and a average person.

That episode escapes me. I can't remember the back story about the Chakram. Still, she barely used it to deal with Ares. She kicked his butt on the regular without it. Hehehe I agree that she's between Hercules and an above average person. Xena far exceeds anyone that's just....average. Right?! LOL Glad I found some folks here who loved this series like I did/do.

I justified it as whoever is the real owner of the chakram. Since it's magical, gains abilities. So ergo her ability to fight gods. Just not able to kill them. I see Ares giving her this power. One, he wouldn't trust her with the other half. But he'd want his army leader to be special.

The Chakram was two weapons. Ying-Yang idea. One had the ability to kill gods. Xena's didn't get an explained ability. So I used that hole to be enhanced ability. Her fliping, strength, and other crazy stuffs she can pull off. That isn't covered by her learned stuff from alti etc. as she traveled.

Remember she also learned a lot from La Ma (or whatever her name is). I forgot her name. Anyway, I see what you're saying. It's a good explanation, however, Xena had skills already. She didn't learn that from Ares. It's the reason why Ares wanted her so bad. Still, I agree with your points and I find it plausible. Especially the Yin Yang bit. You've really paid attention here. I remember La Ma. I agree things from other teachings are used. But Xena herself also can't always use La Ma power all the time. She either forgets it. Or is drained. It's a combination of things. Stacked on top.

True. I wonder why she never used the powers all the time. She was on it before. Too bad that son of hers was a prick! Only due to his father though.

I would of liked if she could of used her abilites she learned over the 6 years. In the finale. Even when she was a Valykrie. Or when the indian gods possed her, too. I also hated how they gave her a different outfit and took it away in a few minutes. God damn tease lol.
