It has been a long while since I saw the series and I may remember it wrong but it would seem difficult to continue the story after that ending. But then, Xena has supernatural elements so there's always something that they can come up with to return her again.

Plus, Lucy still looks very good. :D

Anyways, be what it may, my usual policy: as long as it ends up being good, I don't mind who is involved.

I watched some of the show when I was kid but I meant to watch the whole thing since it was added to netflix. I haven't gotten around to it but your thread did remind me of it. Thanks for that. haha. Yeah, I would watch the show if they redid it.

To be as good as the original Xena you got to take inspiration from the likes of Lagertha (Vikings) or Ygritte (GoT).

Ah lucky you. The series appears to have been syndicated for a while in the US then stopped according to Wikipedia but maybe the info hasn't been updated. Here in Puerto Rico it was shown once when I was little and not again. I plan on watching it again to revive some memories.

Let me warn you. It hasn't aged very well. Whenever i watch it i find it hard to believe that i used to love this series.

I think Sophie Turner(Sansa Stark of GoT) would be a good actress to play Xena. She sometimes reminded me of Lucy Lawless, especially when she hade darker hair. She is also tall enough for the roll.
