That ship has sailed and Sega is looking to shift development more towards mobile now, it's time to let go.
*Edit* Even if we take into account that they own the Bayonetta IP and the developer Atlus (and the fact that they own IP retro gamers would love to see again), they would have to spend millions (if not billions overall) developing high risk IP and hope they sell (and keep in mind these games aren't the usual suspects in selling multiple millions in the first place). I don't see Sega having that much money to support a system that they needed to crowd fund to create in the first place. From a business sense it'd be suicide.

In short: No.
Hunting Season is done...
i do not really care about the financial state of sega what so ever. we as consumers are happy when we get something. and i would be happy with a new sega console. if it is adapter correctly i will sell wiiu xbone. call me a fanboy but i just happen to love sega games as they were.
well good for you. i respect your taste i hope you respect mine to. i didnt kill you for it. but lemme just say wouldnt more variety be a good thing? i know sega is a brand. but they are clearly different. for example u say you dont like sega. then why? i mean sega got loads of games i cant believe u wouldnt like at least one.

It depends on their vision. Impossible to say without any information. Just brand SEGA itself doesnt sell the 100% random console to me.
