Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Games that need to be revived by Microsoft Updated: Jade Empire

I wish MS get their shit together when it comes to Fable - given that even not so brilliant Fable III sold over 5 millions, it would be expected to see proper Fable IV instead of spin-offs.

Oh, and I'd really like to see another Kameo.

Nice list except for Blue Dragon which was pretty average but since I'm also big fan of action JRPG's now mostly due to the Tales games another Infinite Undiscovery game would be nice or another exclusice action JRPG developed by tri-Ace.

You might have not liked Blue Dragon but it did fairly well with the critics and the consumers as far as JRPGs go ...

It ALMOST sold a million ...

It was okay but it was a lot more popular in Japan since it also got a DS game and a anime show.

Oh i remember Sudeki's Japan cover is very Anime/Manga style lol.

The Japanese cover looks miles better then the North American one which is pretty generic.

Good thread idea - looking forward to the Jade Empire one!

I think fable need a reboot. The first one had a great story and gameplay but fell short in longevity and did not delivers most of the promise made by Molyneux. With a proper reboot/remake of the first one it could be awesome. The Cloud may even be usefull when it comes to some of the promise made by Molyneux.

Microsoft is the last company which should be reviving IP's. Theres a reason they depend on third party more than their own first party. Jade Empire is entirely up to Bioware.

I agree

Although the american one gave a better insight of what the game actualy look like.

Yep but deal could be made / IP could be bought.

This threads is not directed towards microsoft IPs but any IP that:
once hit an Xbox platform
Were critically acclaimed/sold well
Have a fan base strong enough to hope a sucess of a new entry

It may not even have been an exclusive ex: Timesplitters

I was supremely disappointed to see neither Banjo & Kazooie or Battletoads get announced at the last E3... that would really make me consider getting an Xb1. I am not at all confident in their ability to make a quality sequel given they've essentially destroyed Rare, but it's worth a shot.

Otherwise I'd really like to see Age of Empires but, again, I question their ability to make it worth purchasing. AoE III was iffy and they seem to have moved on to mobile at this point.

MS would've been better off buying Bioware back then. They dont need to revive someone elses IPs.
