Actually we only know it has had good legs in Japan and the US

If the numbers here on the site are somewhere near reality, add France. According to VGC the sales even went up already in it's 4th week.

Also, drying up in the UK? It's the UK, pretty much the worst teritorry for the Wii U on Earth. I'm almost surprised the game still charts there.

Sometimes they are near reality, sometimes.... Not so much.

when you only got one game to buy that is remotely interesting on the console then you shoudl expect good sales.

these droughts are painful.

It's actually sad that you're trying to spin it this way, but the success and quality of this game are undeniable.

France and Germany too....

Nintendo games doesn't follow the predictable down ward spiral of sales like normal games. Mario kart and other Nintendo release can outsell a previous week sales randomly.

I would normally say that Splatoon sales should die off now since we so far from the launch but this is a Nintendo release and normal rules doesn't apply and we should expect some discount but nothing like wholesales clearing inventory like they do with Assassin Creed and you can get the game for $20 soon after release.

PS> I'm not going to buy Splatoon, but on a side note my nephew did and really like it.

2 milions just before Black Friday - 3 milions life time it is possible!
especially if a good offer will be made during the holidays!

Do people even watch trends or see sales as what they are or do people just troll for fun?

I think it will hit 2.3 by end of year and sort of peter out there. That is unless the Wii U gets a big boost from the next price drop, which is something I mention with every sales prediction.

Lol another troll not seeing the sales trends. Lol Peter out there, I guess holiday Splatoon tanks, yeah sure

Moderated - Starcraft

Halving the price usually does give a nice boost. ;)
