You guys are just awful. You're stealing agency away from hands of colour.
Jranation said: I bet those who are complaining will still buy the game or not, regardless what colour the fucking hand is
Edit: Its not like their going to wank with it. |
So you're saying you wouldn't wank with a black hand? That's so racist.
so people are complaining because of the color of the hand that would be used for this game. we can't really make all people happy. changing the skin color isn't that much of a big deal of development, and maybe change it to a cat's paw or something to accommodate people who doesn't want to see a human hand in the game.

I'm not a fuddy duddy.
I'm a kid, now.
I'm also a squid, now.
Today I played Rocket League. On the screen I saw a car that looks nothing like me. Why can't it look like me? I looked down upon myself and saw legs instead of wheels. Then I cried myself to sleep.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
artur-fernand said: Call it clickbait if you will, but holy shit: "What if I were, say, a 10-year-old black girl? Or a 30-year-old Japanese man? Or literally anything other than an adult white woman (which the hand appears to belong to)? Given the mainstream appeal of the mustachioed hero and his ongoing battle against Bowser, you'd think Nintendo – a company that's repeatedly shown willingness to be inclusive – would have thought of this."
I'm baffled at what some people consider "offensive" or even "significant" these days. What a moment to be alive, next thing you know, even just being a white heterossexual man will be racist/sexist/homophobic for some.
Sorry if this was already posted. |
Dude why even give them attention by making a thread about it? It just encourages them. Plus the irony is when you give them attention it just means (or makes it sound like anyways) that you are offended by them being offended. It is better to just laugh at something like this, shake your head and forget it ever happened.
Check the link below. (note to Admins: it's not really porn please don't ban me!)
People are always trying to find things to get offended about nowadays and in this case, what they're getting offended about isn't even there :l
People really need to go out and do a bit more research before writing a trashy article like this. And if this is clickbait instead of just pure ignorance, I always thought business insider was above clickbait. I guess I was wrong.

It's a good point, maybe the best respons eis to start treating the professionally outraged as if they were trolls. Just ignore them, and any acknowledgement of their existence simply feeds them.
